Bullying Facts

Many victims of bullying do not want to inform their teachers or parents. Bullying does not just take place during school; many adults are also subject to bullying. The elderly are targeted; people of other ethnic origin have been targeted by bullying in the streets. Bullying may come in the form of Racism, sexism and other factors. Ones sexuality may be a cause of bullying. It has been reported that in the UK, as many as 300,000 pupils at either primary or secondary school are bullied every week. Many people that are bullied are afraid to go to school, and this may have a detrimental affect on education and health. People that are subject to bullying may feel alone, unhappy, lose their self confidence, feel miserably and have difficulties in concentrating.
