Ways believed to help in combat bullying
In order to stop one from being subjected to bullying, the victim may need to understand why the bully is doing it and why the victim is reacting in the way done. It is common to feel upset when being subjected to bullying; however the crucial thing to do is, not to show that they have upset the subjected victim. One must also realise that just because they feel bad at the moment of being bullied, this doesn't mean that they are actually bad. The bully always aims to upset the victim. The best defence for the victim is to completely ignore the bully, even if it is difficult to do so. It has been considered vital to tell someone trustable about the bullying, or they may pick on other people as well and make more lives miserable. Bullies should never get away with what they have done. It is considered important to remind oneself that most bullies often are unhappy and feel miserable about them selves. The bullies may have problems at home; they may not have many real friends. In general most people do not really like bullies. One being bullied must tell themselves that the bullies act the way they do out of jealousy. A bully has no right to hurt another individual, and one does not deserve to be a victim of his or her anger. Another way reported to help combat bullying, is to go out there and attempt to socialise and make new friends. Once the bully sees that the victim is happy and has good friends, the bully will be less likely to target them. Most bullies in general are unhappy with their own lives, they are frightened and cruel, and probably do not feel good about themselves.
